Bring up to 10 pictures of Plainville people, places and events and we scan them into our Digital History Collection. Monday, October 23 from 4-7pm. Your memories will be saved for all to enjoy and the Historical Commission will get a copy to keep, as well. Show some Plainville Pride and stop by for some Pizza and chit chat about the history of Plainville. If you would like a digital copy of the photographs you bring, please bring a flash drive with you. We can even do slides and 35 mil or 110 negatives now.
Vote for your favorite book character pumpkin from October 16 - 28 with a non perishable food item. All votes will be donated to the Plainville Food Pantry.

Decorate a pumpkin as your favorite book character. Please do not cut the pumpkin. Bring it to the library to enter into our contest by Saturday, October 14 at 2pm. The winner with the most votes (canned goods) will win a 4 pack of Showcase Movie Tickets. And the Plainville Food Pantry wins because they get all the votes (canned goods). Its a win-win!
