Today we meet John Teiner who is the Director of Parks and Recreation in Plainville. John will read a book to the kids and then kids can ask him questions about hisr job and how and why he became a Parks & Rec Director.   You can also find out more about Plainville Recreation.  Refreshments will be served. ages 5 and up

Register your 2 person team for our first ever Kids Bocce Tournament at the Wood School Courts by July 18. First round is Round Robin on Tuesday, July 26 and the Semi Finals and Finals on Wednesday the 27th. Times will be determined on the 19th and emailed to you, when we know how many teams we have.  Register NOW

Three Kids Programs on Wednesday July 6

1. Science is Great at 1pm for ages 6 and up. Try out a great science activity to learn something new. 
2. Neptune the Reading Dog is at 4pm for readers to come practice reading aloud to a gentle giant of a dog
3. PJ Storytime for ages 5 and up with Miss Laura. Come listen to some great stories. Feel free to wear your Pajamas and bring a stuffed friend to listen.
