Books are just $1 each for most. Also available, will be our ongoing book sale in the Friends’ hallway and Best Sellers and books of gift giving quality. All proceeds go the The Friends of the Plainville Public Library, Inc. to benefit library programs, passes and materials. Kids in grades K -2 and parents - Come to the library for some fun and games that help build literacy skills. There will be games and activities for different reading levels, even pre-readers, and everyone can make their own phonics reader to take home. ![]() Just in Time for school vacation week! The Friends of the Plainville Public Library, Inc have once again purchased a bulk amount of Southwick's Zoo tickets for the 2018 zoo season. A Family may purchase up to 4 discounted tickets at $15 each for the season. You can make your reservation online with our Book Museum Pass link. Tickets may be paid for and picked up anytime prior to your reservation and are good until the zoo closes in October. Regular admission prices are $28 for adults and $24 for children. Children under 2 are free and do not need a ticket. Join us for special events all week long, April 17 - 20, for all of our knights and princesses, kings and queens, squires and jesters.
