As we watch the new buildings of the town campus being built, why don't we do some building activities! We can use different materials and see what we can build - wood blocks, Legos, playing cards, straws, etc - whatever we can find. Try to build with the different materials and then talk abour whether or not these items are good or bad for building. Which structures are the strongest? Weakest? Why? What material is best to build with? Why? This is a great way to work on science and engineering in a fun way! So drop in the library and have some fun building and sharing munchkins together!
We will be closed Thursday, January 4 for the snowstorm, along with the Town Hall, Senior Center, and Recreation Department. All items that were due back on Thursday will be automatically changed to be due back on Friday, January 5. So, no worries about renewing your items or being late. Stay safe and warm! (and have a great day reading with a blanket and a hot beverage!)
