How to view eclipse safely:

8/15/2017

Sorry, we were not part of the 4000 libraries nationwide who recieved the free eclipse glasses from the STARNET Foundation. But you can make your own pinhole viewer! Use this link to learn how. Or there are plenty of directions online. Remember to never look directly at an eclipse.

Try this link from Wired Magazine
Or see the eclipse map and directions for a pinhole viewer at Accuweather

Be safe!

Follow construction @ our Instagram page

8/1/2017

How could I resist snapping a pic from my office window as I watch the transformation of the old wood school to the new Public Safety Building and the new Town Hall? So follow us on Instagram  and you can see the changes too. We've got a year and a half of this to go  - but the Library will remain OPEN during the construction next door. And don't forget we have a secondary book drop at the Wood School parking lot on Messenger Street to help out with returning items. https://www.instagram.com/plainvillemalib/
