The Library will be closed for the holiday on Saturday, December 24 and Monday December 25 for the holiday. We wish you and your family the happiest of holidays. Passes for Tuesday may be picked up on Friday between 1 and 5pm. All items can be returned in our book drops at the Library and at the silver box in the Wood School parking lot on Route 106.

We will display your creation. Ages 5 and up are welcome. Held in the Conference Room on Saturday, December 10 from 10am - 12noon and Monday, December 12 from 6- 7:30pm
The Friends of the Plainville Public Library have brought back the Basket Silent Auction for 2 weeks only, December 3 - 17. Movie basket, Children's Book Characters Plush & Books, Harry Potter, Tea Time, Children's Games and MORE to choose from. The high bidders will be notified after 2pm on the 17th. Pickup the week of December 19, just in time for holiday giving. The Friends of the Library use all the funds from the silent auction to fund musuem passes and program at the Library.
