The Friends of Plainville Public Library have purchased a new pass that will allow 2 people in to the JFK Musuem, (located on the waterfront of the UMASS Boston Campus) at a discounted price of $3 each. The regular admission price is $14 for adults, $10 for children 13 and up. Under 12 is always free. Free parking. You may book your pass up to 75 days in advance at our website
For history buffs, combine your adventure with a trip to the Massachusetts Archives also on campus and free to all for researching your family or local history. The Friends of the Library have set up the conference room with ALL of the Non-fiction books for a mini book sale. Books are just $1 each and benefit the Friends. Sale starts on Saturday the 17th at 10am and goes through the 24th during regular library hours. There will be a bag sale on the 24th only from 10am - 2pm,We give you the bag and you fill it for just $5 and YES you can fit way more than 5 books in the bag so it's like getting a bunch free.
