There are over 1 thousand classes available, for all levels of art and craft abilities, all taught by professionals and new classes are added daily! On Creativebug you will find instructional videos for drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, baking and much more. You will also have access to downloadable patterns, templates and recipes! Log in with your library card number and PIN.
Reutrn your late or lost items in our bookdrops (at the library or at the Wood School parking lot) before we open on April 22 and NO FEES will be charged. No questions asked.
1 non-perishable food item = the fine on 1 item through April 20. All food will be given to the school based food pantry at the Wood School. It's a WIN-WIN!
Starting Thursday, April 4 at 10am, The Plainville Public Library is proud to be helping distribute seeds to our library card holders to they can grow healthy food this year in their own gardens. You will checkout your choice of vegetable seeds from tomatos and carrots to beans and lettuce, from the front desk at the Plainville Library with your library card, while supplies last. The Library received this donation of vegetable Burpee™ seed packets through the URI Cooperative Extension's Free Seed Program and is made possible annually through the generous donation of expired yet usable and unsold seed packets from Ocean State Job Lot stores throughout the Northeast. Enjoy produce you grow yourself this year and checkout our many gardening books to help you on your quest for great garden veggies.
