Free admission to the RISD Museum is now available with our pass. The Friends of the Plainville Public Library purchased this pass. This pass admits 2 adults and all children in the household for free.
This pass is reciprocal with free admission to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Peabody Essex Museum - so you can use this pass at any of the three art museums. It is a returnable pass so you must drop it in our book drop on your way home the evening of your visit. Please visit the museum websites for their hours. Book Your passes Now! No library card? We can fix that right on site and get you a new card, just have your driver's license. So don't make 2 trips - make one - and visit the Senior Center and the Library at one time. PS. Have games that freeze, music that skips, or favorite movies that are scratched? The Plainville Public Library can now clean your personal pre-recorded DVD, Bluray, CD or game discs for a fee of $2 for one sided items or $4 for double sided discs. The Friends of the Plainville Public Library, Inc. recently purchased a new disc repair machine for the library. Funds raised through cleaning services will go towards purchasing cleaning supplies and funding programs. Customers with a SAILS Library card in good standing can bring in up to 5 discs per week for cleaning and/or repair, with the completed Disc Cleaning form available online or at the library.
