The Plainville Public Library is reopening for limited hours on Monday July 13. The Library is committed to the safety of our customers and employees. We are following the Massachusetts state safety standards for cleaning and disinfecting the building and materials.
Limited Hours: Monday – Thursday 10:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 3:00pm, Wednesday night 4:00-7:00pm and Friday 2:00-5:00pm. Vulnerable population (and those over 60) hours: Thursday 10:00am – 12:00pm. Contactless Takeout will still be available during these times for those who prefer to not enter the building. The Library asks for 1 person per family to find and checkout items in the building. Occupancy will be limited to maintain social distancing. Please follow the signs and floor markings. A hand washing station is available upon entry to the building, as well as sanitizer stations. Public computer use will be limited to 30 minutes per day to lessen your exposure. The library is offering printing and fax services for free through August 31. We encourage the use of remote printing via email and wifi to lessen the use of public computers. All items returned will be held for 72 hours before they are handled by staff and returned off your library card. The library is fine free through August 31. The library is also waiving all processing fees for lost items and providing free replacement library cards through August 31. We are excited to see everyone again and we hope you will be excited to come back to the library to pick books for yourself from our shelves. Comments are closed.
