Melissa Campbell, Library Director, is popping in at the Plainvile Senior Center Mondays from 9-10am in January and February with a special selection of movies and large print books to check out with your SAILS Library card. No library card? We can fix that right on site and get you a new card, just have your driver's license. So don't make 2 trips - make one - and visit the Senior Center and the Library at one time. PS. There were muffins and danish this past Monday - Yum!
Have games that freeze, music that skips, or favorite movies that are scratched? The Plainville Public Library can now clean your personal pre-recorded DVD, Bluray, CD or game discs for a fee of $2 for one sided items or $4 for double sided discs. The Friends of the Plainville Public Library, Inc. recently purchased a new disc repair machine for the library. Funds raised through cleaning services will go towards purchasing cleaning supplies and funding programs. Customers with a SAILS Library card in good standing can bring in up to 5 discs per week for cleaning and/or repair, with the completed Disc Cleaning form available online or at the library. Please allow one week for the service. See our Disc Repair Policy on our website for further information or call 508-695-1784.
Melissa loves reading mysteries and historical fiction. She watches way too much hockey. And would like to have more time for crafting cool stuff.
