Sometimes you have to toot your own horn. And ours is a Fire Truck Siren this time. When a local resident came in to ask if we had books for them to study for the fire department's lieutenant's exam - we found them at other libraries across the country and got them sent here. They studied hard! They passed! And they came by to tell us "Thank you". So like a proud Mama - we are telling everyone. Anyone else got a test to study for?
TONIGHT, Wednesday, December 11 - Take a break from holiday stress.
Drop in the library and learn a kid friendly card games. We will use standard, regular cards - no special decks required - and no notepad needed to keep score. We will play games like: Old Maid, Snap, Crazy Eights, Slapjack, and Garbage, to name a few. This is a great way to learn new games and ways to keep kids busy and entertained and the only thing you need is a standard deck of cards!
