Email our Printer from anywhere. Is your printer broken at home, but you really need to print out that report or boarding pass or term paper or form? A new service from the Plainville Library can solve your problem: Email Printing. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name in the subject line and attach the file you wish to print. You can pick up your document during regular library hours for 20 cents a page. This is color 8 1/2” x 11” printing, for the following formats: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, JPG, TIF, GIF, BMP and PNG to a maximum of 20mb. The email printing service works from nearly any email client, including Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, Blackberry and more.
On February 18, the library will be closed for the holiday. We are open regular hours the rest of the week: Tuesday 10-5pm, Wednesday 10-8pm, Thursday 10-2pm, Friday 1-6 and Saturday 10-2pm. Please remember for safety's sake, our driveway is now One-Way IN and One-Way OUT with angled parking along the side of the library.

Fri 2/22 - Movie Day! We will have winter theme movies playing from 1 - 4 pm, then the Family Movie Night will begin at 4.

We are sorry to cancel storytimes on Tuesday, February 19, but Miss Laura has a family event to attend. We do invite you to have fun at the library ALL day with Paper Airplanes or Origami. Fun for all ages (with a little help from Mom or Dad for the little ones). Thank you for understanding.

Friday, 2/15 - 4 - 5 pm - Animal Club - Each month in Animal Club we learn about a different animal, we talk about the care and needs of the animal and discuss the good and bad about having that animal as a pet. Then, we will visit with the animal and its owner and hold a question and answer session about their experience having this animal for a pet. February's pet will be a cat and you can meet Redmond, the adopted shelter cat. Drop in activity for ages 6 - 12.
Wednesday, February 13 at 6pm. Families are welcome to drop in to learn a new game everyone can play with a simple deck of playing cards. Miss Laura is a good teacher!

Melissa loves reading mysteries and historical fiction. She watches way too much hockey. And would like to have more time for crafting cool stuff.
