Library Backyard is OpenAlong with our scheduled indoor activities, we will have the library backyard open during regular library hours. Features: Sand table, finger painting, water tower, sidewalk chalk, and bubbles. Weather Permitting. All ages.

8 Piece ChallengeAs part of your sign up for the summer reading program you will be given a bag with an assortment of 8 items. We would love to have our participants build something using all 8 pieces. Bring in your creation by July 15 for it to be displayed in the library. Ages 6-12

Join us at Telford Park as we sing along with Cindy Tuminelli. Bring a blanket, a picnic and your favorite cuddly friend and let's kick off the summer together! THURSDAY, 6/30 @ 6:00PM - CONCERT - ROCKABYE BEATS
at Telford Park, 142 South St. Marcos Valles of Rockabye Beats hopes to recreate that fun, family atmosphere where he learned about music for young children who are experiencing it for the first time. As a result, Rockabye Beats is more than just an entertaining music program - it's a place where friends are made and families grow closer together by creating music together! This program made possible with support from the Plainville office of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Friends of the Plainville Public Library.

Toe Jam Puppet Band are Tom and Vinnie and they put on a great show that is exciting and interactive with children that grown ups will enjoy too! Wed. 8/3 @ 6:00pm - The Fairy Tailor Puppet Show
Join us for a performance of The Fairy Tailor by Sarah Nolen from Puppet Showplace Theater. The Fairy Tailor is just that - a tailor who makes clothes for the characters of fairy tales. She stitches for witches, and fixes holes for trolls. But sometimes, as in any customer-facing business, she has some tough clients. By telling these timeless fairy tales through clothes and notions around her shop, the Fairy Tailor builds up enough strength to face her own bully. And it turns out she will use some cleverness along the way, just like in her stories. This program is appropriate for families. Drop in to the Community Room at the Plainville Town Hall. This program made possible with support from the Plainville office of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Friends of the Plainville Public Library.

Join us for some End of Summer Reading FUN! We'll have popsicles, music and bubbles to celebrate the AWESOME SUMMER we just shared! Families can just drop in for some summer fun.
