The Plainville Public Library honors the following individuals and groups who have made donations to support materials in honor of them.

The Vance Bremner Fund: a $5000 gift given in memory of Mr. Vance Bremner, a lifelong reader and patron of the Plainville Public Library. Interest is used for the following mystery and suspense purchases.

Purchases in December 2007: Broken Shore, Cairo Diary, City of Fire, Companion, Cruel Stars of the Night, Death at the Old Hotel, The Penguin who Knew too Much, Raven Black, Saturnalia, Welcome Grave.
